Introduction

We operate the online yarn shop at entrelaces.ca using WordPress and WooCommerce from the province of Quebec, Canada.

Personal information collected via WooCommerce

When you place an order through WooCommerce, we collect only the information needed to process and ship your purchase and manage your account, including:

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, and (if you choose) your account login details.

  • Order and transaction details: products ordered, order date, order total, chosen shipping and payment methods, and related communication.

Payment card details are processed directly by our payment gateway.
Apart from this order‑related information and minimal account data, we do not collect additional personal information.

How and why WooCommerce/WordPress collect data

We collect personal information when you: create an account, place an order, contact us, or enter information during checkout.
 WooCommerce and WordPress also collect certain technical data automatically, such as IP address and browser information, to operate the cart/checkout session, prevent fraud, and keep the Site secure.

  • Maintain your account and order history, if you create an account.
