Ferme St-Ours

Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec

Lauryann Lavoie, a 5th generation breeder in the Charlevoix region, grew up on Ferme St-Ours, the family dairy farm. Since then, the farm moved away from dairy and towards Charlevoix lamb production, but the dairy farm values held strong. Healthy and clean animals mean quality products, and this still holds strong with Lauryann’s flock of sheep.
Lauryann has Dorset sheep, a breed that we can recognize by their wooly cheeks and soft gaze. This breed offers us a wool that is elastic and strong, perfect for projects that will need to hold up to intense wear.
In a nutshell, the wool from Ferme St-Ours is the fruit of generations of farming expertise, deeply rooted in the Charlevoix region.
